This year in Vegas I got sick. The worst that I’ve ever been sick in Vegas. It wasn’t the typical Vegas flu that a lot of us who’ve been there for AEE have come to expect. It was some weird virus thing that made my throat so raw that when I coughed, my throat actually started bleeding on the inside.

So when I say that on the day after the convention, Janaury 12 (which just happened to be my birthday), I was thrilled to be doing nothing other than sleeping in the passenger seat of my Lexus RX 350 while John drove us home from Vegas, I’m being completely serious.

Today during work, one of the IMs my assistant Sarah Doom sent me was this:
Sarah: jazz is here
Me: omg. I’ll be right there.

I didn’t realize that Jazz was here in the United States this week, let alone Los Angeles. It’s no secret that I absolutely adore Jazz. He’s sweet, gorgeous and funny. He’s an amazing performer. And on a business level, he takes a lot of pride in directing and performing, and he makes my job as a publicist as easy as could possibly be. In fact, I tend to gush about Jazz so much that John actually got the tiniest bit jealous a while back because my desktop pic on my laptop was this for quite awhile:

So yes, I jumped out of my chair to go give Jazz a hug. Turns out that Harmony Films, who recently started their own US distribution, brought Jazz to LA to perform in some scenes for them. I’ll have to remember to thank Harmony. I wish them luck with their new business ventures. They’re going to do just fine.

Congratulations are in order for Evil Angel’s Karen Stagliano. Womeninadult.com has named her Woman of the Month!
